Description
Uneeda Enterprizes, Inc is seeking an experienced and skilled individual to join our team as a wide belt machine technician. In this position, you will travel 75% or more to our customers’ manufacturing plants throughout North America.
As a Uneeda Wide Belt Technician, you will calibrate wide belt machines using digital indicators to level all machine components. In addition, you will train our customers’ machine operators on proper sanding techniques to include identifying and troubleshooting finishing defects, setting stock removals, and proper machine set ups. You will use dust extraction meters to ensure proper extraction levels, speed meters to determine line feed speeds, and static meters to determine static conditions of the machinery. You will work closely with our sales team on a regular basis to conduct training seminars and to help educate our customers on proper sanding principles. You will provide a written follow up report with your analysis of machine condition and the customer’s conformance to best practices. Your ability to be efficient and precise with your work will be integral to your success.
